Dear colleagues, I present the first issue of our journal in 2023 year. This is the third year of the life of our new magazine. We are glad that it is actively developing and we hope that you also like the content and design of our journal. 

 

This issue opens with an article by M.S. Guseltseva “Life strategies of a personality in a situation of sociocultural changes: traditionalists, modernists, mixes”, dedicated to the actual problem of choosing a life path in a situation of changes. The author shows different levels of comprehension of sociocultural changes: as a methodological problem and features of personality development. Of particular interest is the proposed M.S. Guseltseva breeding of constructs “integrity of personality” and “personality holism”. 

 

The article by A.N. Poddyakov “Workshop of thinking: the game “Pink-Green” with multifactorial interactions of participants in the paradigm of enactivism” is of great theoretical and practical interest. The author has developed a methodology for a workshop on the psychology of thinking, which is a game with multifactorial interactions and the transformation of participants with green labels into participants with pink, and vice versa. The subject of discussion in the lesson can be different aspects of the game: from purely logical to individual and socio-psychological and philosophical.

 

No less relevant and consonant with modern problems of personality psychology is the article by a group of authors N.L. Moskvicheva, N.L. Zinovieva, A.F. Filatova, M.M. Odintsova and S.N. Kostromina “The phenomenon of self-determination: on the way to creating a complementary model”. This is a continuation of the article in the fourth issue. It describes the system of concepts related to different levels of manifestation of self-determined behavior. From the point of view of the authors, self-determination of a personality is a multi-level dynamic system that provides energy, target and semantic activity to the person and determines relative freedom in the realization person's life aspirations.

 

Article by T.P. Emelyanova and S.V. Tarasova “Effects of intergenerational transmission of political orientations” is devoted to the analysis of differences and similarities of political orientations of representatives of the baby boomer and millennial generations. It reveals the content of the transmission of political orientations in Russian society on the example of two generations. The materials obtained allowed the authors to identify both solidarity positions and significant differences in the views of representatives of the two generations.

 

Article by T.D. Martsinkovskaya and V.A. Karpuk “Adaptation of the questionnaire of immersion in virtual space: an approach to the problem” reveals the first stage of adaptation of an important tool for modern research on the psychological phenomenology of immersion. The theoretical grounds for actualization the researches of virtual space, personal characteristics in a situation of transitivity, including a new concept of personal transitivity, as well as translation options and the final version of the Russian-language version of the questionnaire are presented.

 

In the Book Review we present reviews of three foreign publications.

 

First of all, it is prepared by N.I. Yurchenko review of the article “From night bustle to printed quietness” by François Jacob, French microbiologist, geneticist and Nobel Prize winner in Physiology and Medicine. The article is devoted to the topic of scientific interaction (science communication), in which the author emphasizes the importance for researchers of broad communication with each other.

 

E.V. Solovieva presented a review of the article by L. Dube et al. “Efficacy of psychological interventions for mental health and pregnancy rates among individuals with infertility: a systematic review and meta-analysis”. In this article underlines the need to develop a unified methodological approach in the psychodiagnostics and psychotherapy of people overcoming infertility.

 

N.Yu. Fedunina in her review reveals the content of the book Alessandra Lemma “Under the skin. A psychoanalytic study of body modification”, dedicated to bodily modifications in their entire spectrum - from the use of cosmetics to extreme transformations.
